I Am Not Afraid of Snakes

Culebras

Came I upon a snake
One fine sunny day
He lay languishing
Hot and nearly dead
I considered his plight
I spoke briefly to him
Long, lean, shiny reptile
I offered him simple options
I picked him up
I offered him refuge
I offered him a better life
I bestowed upon him
Sustenance
He chose to live
He did not poison me
Though that was certainly
An option
Infrequently
I think on him

That is undoubtedly the most interesting thing you've posted...
Hmmm....Thank you from my heart. I wrote it specifically thinking on him. I write many interesting things, my friend. Taste my postings today. Their flavour is a new style. Deeper. I know you will enjoy them...

@PoetryNEmotion: Let me clean my palate so I may be able to fully appreciate their fullness and savor them properly...
@Alien-Zipper: Excellent! *smiles largely* I will check back on your ideas on them! :)

@PoetryNEmotion: I am anxiously awaiting the feast...
@Alien-Zipper: Don't get yourself all excited. Settle back. Get comfortable. Taste my wares. LOL. Write how they make you feel. And I shall write more...Don't overindulge. You don't want to have to take soothing tea or an antacid.

@PoetryNEmotion: I will try to exercise some restraint...

@PoetryNEmotion: I didn't think you did. Mine was more of a rhetorical question...
