I used to shave every workday, since it made me look neater and younger. But I did not shave on non-work days.
Then the pandemic hit, and we all had to work from home for over two years. I stopped shaving every workday. I only shaved for meetings. I knew when the they were well in advance, so could shave. Yet once or twice they were unplanned so I had no time to shave.
Working from home was so successful they offered it permanently to those who wanted it. About 80% wanted it! I wanted it, too.
After that, I decided to stop shaving entirely. Yet I still shave my neck and part of my chin periodically, and around my nostrils and lips, since the hair is annoying (I hated licking my mustache every time I licked my lips!). I also trim my beard about once a month, since it grows unevenly and is annoying when long.
