Sunday October 26th Update from Musicman: "My personal guess is they will release her Monday or Tuesday. She will have in home nursing care for a while. They called today and talked to us about it. For now it was letting us know who they are and that they have been assigned to us. They also wanted to know what area we lived in and what we were close to. I guess so they can assign us the nurse covering our area."

@4meAndyou Yes it is especially when your company tells you that you cannot see them on your days off. But the family says you can. I don't do it anymore, because back in 2013 A patient of mine , his roommate beat me almost to death. I didn't press charges , but I went to my job and telling my quit. My back was all bruised up and my forehead was split open.

@LILPapi69 I am so sorry! How horrible for you! I don't blame you for quitting. And I would have pressed charges.
I worked as a specialist for patients with dementia after my mother died of it...mostly to expiate my own sin of ignorance and lack of understanding and compassion for HER. I saw some very hard things.
Only one patient hurt me. I tried to pull her hood up over her head because it was raining. And she was in a wheelchair. She grabbed me by the arm and SQUEEZED as hard as she could. It really hurt. Then I had to take her to the movies after that...and pretend nothing was wrong. But I went to the ladies room once she was settled in the theater, and called it in. I didn't have to work for her again.
