On the prayer list ...
Even seemingly the most healthy are at risk. A few months ago a close relative suspected food poisoning, went to an urgent care clinic and an hour later was in the main hospital operating room with that same procedure. It was a SCAD, a Spontaneous coronary artery dissection. A life threatening happening requiring immediate attention to an otherwise healthy person with no history of heart issues.

@Heartlander I hope your relative was okay afterward, just as I hope my friend, Tom, can be repaired...and I hope and pray that they FIND whatever is wrong with him so they can fix it.

@4meAndyou She was completely back to normal within 2 months. Luckly it was flapping in the blood stream and hadn't broken free. Supposedly it happens to women more than men.

@4meAndyou As I understand, there are blood test or other test that clued urgent care screeners of the urgency of the need for an invasive intervention. Her first thought was food poisoning and she almost decided to give it time to try to cure itself.

@Heartlander Thank heavens she did NOT!
