@lwshm64 No, I'm not a christain and I most certainly do not claim to be one. I'm just pointing out that, according to christianity, "god" sent the hurricane to do whatever it's doing but you're asking him/her/it to change his/her/its plans. Thinking you know better than "god" must be the ultimate in arrogance.

@lwshm64 What's the point of praying other that to ask "God" to change whatever it's doing? When you post to a public forum, you should expect responses from other contributors. You don't get to dictate other's opinions. You need to grow up a bit.

You want us to pray to god that he spares you by diverting the hurricane to hit some other family's house instead of yours? If you believe that praying to god might convince her that she should make the hurricane fizzle out, then I have to ask you- is that the same god that made the hurricane in the first place?
