Prayer/ Positive Healing Vibe Request

Please send prayers or positive healing vibes to my friend, Thomas.

He has been in the hospital since the last few days of December. He caught some kind of horrible flu while stuck in the nursing home, (he was in the nursing home because his left lung kept filling up with fluid and had to be drained every 3 days), and became so ill with the flu that they had to hospitalize him. Before he went dark, he told me he had been unable to eat for 5 days.

They have now moved him to the floor in the hospital that deals with oncology patients and surgical patients.

He has refused to answer my phone calls or texts, and just now, I spoke to the nurse on that floor who checked with him, and he said he doesn't feel up to having any visitors.

His refusal to speak on the phone, and refusal to text, and refusal to accept visitors means he is sinking down into a deep depression.

Of course, since I am not family, the nurse can't discuss his condition with me...but I fear his lung cancer has returned. That is only my fear...but I can't see why he would be housed on that floor of the hospital unless that were the case.

Please pray or send positive vibes his way. Thank you so much.

Update: My friend is still alive, but very weak, and very sick, still. But he sent me a text. He caught pneumonia while he had the flu. The doctors think the lung cancer has come back, and might be moving around, and they are also testing him to see if he has C Difficile.

His text was very disjointed, and mainly, I received the impression that the doctor didn't give a plug nickel for Tom's chances when he first saw him...but thanks to your prayers, he is crawling weakly toward recovery.
@4meAndyou Your friend will continue to be in my prayers 🙏
