Exclusive Bretheren secretive 'cult' church tells members they must get rid of pets

Beloved brethren,

Four-year-old child attacked by a dog, belonging to a brother while at the brother's house for the evening meal, on Lord's Day, 12th April.

He sustained significant facial injuries requiring surgery. The ownership of such an animal, let alone it being kept at a brother's home, is clearly wrong. There are reports of some brethren having reverted to owning pets, including dogs and other animals, which practice has been clearly spoken against in ministry. The following references are examples, and there are many others in the ministry indexes which all brethren are encouraged to look up.

JT Jr., New Series, Volume 64, page 334
Your house is a clean place, though, but then it becomes a holy place if you have an assembly in it. That's why you don't have any dogs around.

JHS, volume 66, page 145.
Rats and mice out, cats too!
Well, they disposed of their dogs. And now what? Well, you acknowledge in the assembly that you were wrong to have such a creature hanging around.

JSH, new series, volume 127. Page 116. Regarding pets:
Thought they were finished with 30 years ago. Your house has got a pet in it. We couldn't have a supper there, that's all. See, the fellow raised it with Mr. Taylor about a pet, about a dog. Mr. Taylor says they're dogs. Unclean. Get them out. But what that brother didn't realize was it applied to cats. B.D.H. May even apply to birds, mightn’t it? Might even apply to birds, yes. These things have all been laid down in the statute. They're all on record.

Every household should be freshly exercised to ensure the standard represented in the great men and their ministries is carried forward and maintained.

This cult church was involved in federal election manipulation trying to get the Australian Liberal/National Party (aka Australian Trump Republican Party) elected to government last year, and has a roving indoctrination cult unit called RRT (Rapid Relief Team) that takes advantage of vulnerable people during natural disasters by pretending to spread 'joy and hope'.

I had personal experience with RRT during the 2019/20 bushfire crisis where they had a team 'show up' at the RFS brigade I was based at which was being used as a temporary ops centre and the cult tried to push christianity on all the emergency service people taking part in the firefighting operations.

I'm not adding more pets to have stress. I want none of that.

Who are the "great men" / "Universal Elderhood"? Presumably this outfit has a founder and central committee, all known individuals.

What is their aim?

They waffle on about "brothers", evoking a 1930s trades-union stereotype, but are there no "sisters"?

II take it the clowns were soon sent packing by the RFS.

@ArishMell The Elderhood would be the Hales family that owns/runs/controls the Church of Exclusive (or Plymouth) Bretheren.

Bruce Hales is the big cheese. His son Gareth Hales was deliberately breaking the church rules to interfere with the election at select polling booths during the 2025 federal election by promoting the Australian Liberal/National Party (Oz equiv of the Republican party) and then Opposition leader Peter Dutton tried to deny involving the cult to help them try to win.

The cult first issued it's 'no pets' edict in the 1960's.

I don't know how the connection between volunteer emergency services like RFS/SES/VRA and Marine Rescue and the cult works.

Anything with apostles as leadership is a cult. Stay clear of them!
