Now, I know what Allah meant when He said this in the Qu'ran.

That He NOW made things easy and clear.

I am currently studying The Old Testament (Which Allah dictated to Moses and Moses wrote down) personally, and I read Leviticus, and Ohhh God, it was so so difficult to sort-of purify yourself after falling into sin. Big time ritual sacrifice crap.

But according to The Qur'an and The Islamic Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) only taught very very easy duas (supplications) and we are good to go.

Now that I'm studying Leviticus, I understand the things being discussed in The Qur'an better.

Thanks, Allah!

Maybe try the New Testament now, especially the Gospels! 😅

@BritishFailedAesthetic haha, I dunno. A lot of sources told me that The Old Testament hasn't changed. So trying to take it as the word of God.
@nobodyishome The New Testament hasn't changed either. You'll read it and say "Das ist gut" 🤭

@BritishFailedAesthetic But I had heart that The Bible changed over time. Is that incorrect?
@nobodyishome There may have been irrelevant scribal errors- numbers, etc. But otherwise exactly the same!
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@BritishFailedAesthetic what does scribal errors-numbers mean. Which part :)
@nobodyishome A few but nothing that changes the meaning of the text. God preserves his word.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Ohhhh myyy Goddddddd, this is awesome! Then I get to read more of Allah now. This is really enlightening. So, now I can take it literally. You really made my day. Thanks :)
@nobodyishome Welcome! Allah (God) is a Trinity- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@BritishFailedAesthetic oki, I'll figure it out. Thanks a lot, really :) And can I ask you questions along the way :)
@nobodyishome You bet you can!

nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@nobodyishome so, what is Trinity? :)

@BritishFailedAesthetic [quote] You bet you can! /quote]

I'm sorry for being rude on my other post. Some people just deserve to not be heard at all. I thought you were one of them. I was wrong. I'm sorry!
@nobodyishome The Trinity is one God in three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I'm sorry for being rude on my other post.

Not a problem, it's nothing. We're all just making sure you stay safe.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Oh this is also seen in the Hindu scriptures no. Like, how Shiva split his soul into two, and then there was Parvathi. :)
@nobodyishome No, more like this.

nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@BritishFailedAesthetic ohh, so YHVH split into three. understandable!
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@nobodyishome but that's what I said about Shiva and Parvathi. 🤔
@nobodyishome Not the same as any Pagan concept.
nobodyishome · 31-35, F
@BritishFailedAesthetic yea, but that's what I infer from the diagram.
