Scripture has already told us the God of this world has blinded the minds of them which might believe 2 Corinthians 4:4 .................. And says don't be deceived that they shall not come **except there come** a falling away first and that man of sin we revealed the son of perdition 2nd Thessalonians 2:13.
Notice how it said that day will not come except there be a falling away first ....... if Christians stood the grounds in their belief and do as the Lord has said do, I wonder with that day be delayed. Well scripture says if my people who are called by my name would pray, humble themselves, and seek his face, repent of their wicked ways then they would hear from heaven and he would heal the land. 2nd Chronicles 7:14

@NerdyPotato yes and that can be quite a huge turn off. For me false religion has defamed God, Jesus and the Bible.

@seotelkniwt that's the biggest issue indeed. A religion based solely on Jesus' teachings would be pretty good, but I've yet to see the first denomination actually following that.
