@BoredDarkLord The word ghost was the word used in the KJV of the Bible. Sadly the English spoken in the time of King James and the English spoken today are very different. When is the last time you used the word thou or Thee or Hast. We Christians refer to the Holy Spirit as the Holy Spirit because He is Spirit. John 4:24 says, "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
