It doesn’t make sense. I have no faith in it to suspend disbelief.
If there is good and evil in this world and God created everything then he created child rape, torture, cancer, etc. plus the whole Jesus dying for sins doesn’t make sense.

Dear man, you've got that concept all wrong. The bible doesn't say nor agree with that. It doesn't make sense to you because you have not heard the whole story. Jesus is perfect, sinless, incapable of sending or making errors.

In the beginning, God made everything perfect, just the way he wanted it for his creation. Why would a loving God create evil? That would make him evil and he is not. The Bible says that God did not create evil, but that evil was found in the heart of men. There's a big difference. Man makes up his own choices and he chose to do evil. God did not force him to. Man did that on his own free will. So we cannot blame God for what evil men do. Man brought evil into this world and that's exactly why we see everything is so messed up and Evil. It was man that messed the world up, not God. He wanted us to have a beautiful, sinless world. But man, even knowing right from wrong, decided to do evil things in this world. God does not interfere with choice. He did not make us to be robots. So whatever we reap, we sow.

When man brought sin into this world, it was Jesus who then had to bail us out by dying on the cross, buying our pardon for sin. Here's the deal. Send always keeps us separated from our holy Heavenly Father. If God the Father could look upon sin, he would not be holy anymore and we could not call his kingdom, Heaven. It would be tainted with sin. And now that man's sins separated him from God the Father, Jesus had to step in as Mediator between God the Father and mankind. Because in the spirit realm, there is no pardon of sins without the shedding of blood. Innocent blood like Jesus's. Pure sacrifice not tainted with sin, so that's why man cannot save himself because he is full of sin. But whosoever comes to Jesus and ask him to save them from the condemnation that sin placed on man, Jesus promised to forgive them of their sins and that brings them back into right standing and fellowship with God the Father, forever. If a person leaves their soul to chance, and does nothing about their sinful condition before the Lord, their sins shall keep them separated from God. Those who Curse God and mock him, shall not see the kingdom of heaven because their sins are not forgiven. They have chosen to ignore and reject the very salvation that Jesus wants to provide us. That personal choice is what sends man to hell, not God. He did not make that decision for them. So when we see all this evil in the world, that just tells us why we need Jesus as our Savior.

@LadyGrace I don’t want to talk you out of your faith. If God made everything, that’s everything - Past, Present, Future. It doesn’t make logical sense. But if it makes sense in your heart and brings meaning to your life, bringing you joy then go for it. Who am I to say that’s wrong.
@DailyFlash No one could talk me out of my faith in the Lord. God did make everything but His Word also says that He did not make evil nor man to sin. That's obvious and common sense. But thanks for sharing your thoughts.
