I Think Indoctrinating Children With Religion Is Child Abuse

A christian claims to be a "trained scientist" and a "qualified theologian" yet repeatedly demonstrates a profound ignorance of both subjects. When asked to present evidence for his "god hypothesis" he can only respond with childish insults. He claims he is right because anyone who doesn't agree with him is an idiot. :)

Now, having run out of even childish insults and unable to answer valid points rationally, he's reduced to deleting opponents' replies. I suppose such childish behaviour is only to be expected from a senile old man.

@Quizzical I get the feeling that a lot of the christian post are trolls. It doesn't seem credible that they actually believe all that BS - but then I remember what I was like when I was a christian. :(

It's kind of understandable really. When life is going to shit I guess folks feel better that it's because of a mysterious plan as it's easier to believe that than admit you fucked your own life up...

I don't like that either. Anyone forcing anything upon anyone against their will is wrong. But being in the faith at one point, you know that Christians are as flawed as ever. Don't worry--my bible's across the room, I can't thump you with it. ;) 😋 I'll just say, we all fall short, we all disappoint. Christian, Muslim, Jewish, hedonistic dudes and ladies, we all fall short.

@KayraJordyn I studied the bible thoroughly when I was a christian. That's why I'm no longer a christian. I call it BS because that's what I found it to be.

I don't know about the US but here in the UK I've found christians try to force their beliefs onto others, often using threats, intimidation and even violence to do so.
