Maybe Satan Just Hates Gratefulness?

Just this morning, I was feeling grateful for my dishwasher. Every. Time. I am grateful. For something. No exaggeration..it breaks down the next day or moment. This has happened with the gratefulness thing like TEN TIMES: car, a/c, 2nd job, etc.

I run the dishwasher this morning, and the breaker trips. This is NOT normal. So i reset it, begin the dishwasher again. I am bummed that the movie we had planned to see all week has not a single seat, and I walk back to my room with my shoulders slumped. What do I see on the way to my room? Water coming out of the BACK of the ISLAND..NOT the dishwasher door.

This now poses a risk for shock or ELECTROCUTION, as well as MOLD GROWTH within 72 hours, damage to the subfloor, AND to the DISHWASHER.

Anddd the car has started driving poorly and making a groaning noise. I feel like I am eternally cursed. Or wicked? And being thwarted?

Seems like a coincidence. The dishwasher in this house was at least 23 years old, that’s a long time to have a dishwasher. It broke down a month or so after I had surgery to remove a cancerous adrenal gland & was getting chemo for colon cancer. We got into an accident a week after my surgery while driving up to the cancer center to visit with my oncologist for the first time. It totaled my car. I was so bruised up and sore that I couldn’t get out of bed by myself. So we got a lift chair for me to sleep in. Then the washing machine stopped working, had to replace that too. And a few other expensive things replaced as well. All in a cluster. Then it stopped. I never thought it was about Satan hating me.
