How is one truly catholic

was something that Bishop William Alexander Guerry once explained. He was an American prelate who served as the eighth Bishop of South Carolina. On June 5, 1928, he was shot in his office at St Philip's Church, Charleston, and died four days later. His murderer was a retired priest by the name of Woodward who had already attacked Guerry's position on advancing racial equality throughout South Carolina.

I believe this. AND the exclusion that the Catholic church USED to practice against divorced people is one failure to promote the Catholic church.

For MANY years, I believed I was excommunicated because of my divorce. However, one saintly nun had a vision...that there is NO sin so black that it can NOT be forgiven. That was Saint Faustina Kowalska, and because of her, there is NOW Divine Mercy Sunday, which is the first Sunday after every Easter.

@jshm2 Good evening to you there! Jesus Christ is the founder of the Catholic Church. The description of Christ as Catholic—meaning "universal"—is rooted in the early Church.

Just a point of logic, no god has a religion.
