How do i revoke my membership from the church of jesus christ of latter daYsaints

I have Mormons in my family. You can quit two ways. You can go directly to your Bishop and tell him you want to leave the church permanently, OR you can write him a letter saying you want to leave the church permanently. You won't be allowed to come back if you join another church.
