Poor guy being called out like that
All he did was film it
@Matt85 Obviously you're joking.....
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@Matt85 Erm this is not acceptable behaviour for a Christian but a reverend.........
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic So he banged a couple of pornstars, I don't get why the press has to be involved
and he's probably already suffered a lot of flack. I'm not gonna sit here and condem him, loads of people already have.
@Matt85 Pffft yeah why don't we give him a hot date with Mia Khalifa while we're at it, he'll be a great reverend......

I'm not condemning him but he is not fit for his role, I believe the book of Titus lays out qualifications for pastors......
@Matt85
So he banged a couple of pornstars, I don't get why the press has to be involved
Are you SERIOUS? Who ARE you?? If the shoe fits, wear it. He brought about his own condemnation and he is definitely in the wrong, along with those who went along with him. It is nothing but disgusting and evil, what he did. Place a "D" in front of "evil", and what do you have? The devil brought all this about and this phony, sick, perverted "priest" followed his suggestions. That is clearly obvious.
@LadyGrace Well put as always sister!

@LadyGrace @BritishFailedAesthetic Not only that but so hypocritical to have their parishioners go to confession and then make them pay for their sins. Even try to get teenage girls to say they had thoughts of sex etc and make them feel guilty for that…. And all the while the priest is doing what he pleases

@cherokeepatti Not how it should work. Our confessions are to God alone.

@LadyGrace I do agree that he did a very bad thing, I just think chances are he's been through Hell for this already. I just don't wanna add to that. Yes, it was disgusting but we are called to forgive, even our Christian brothers and sisters.
@Matt85 Now you talk like that! Anyway he should be stripped of his position, he is clearly not called to be a pastor.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic That was always my angle. He's been charged, likely excommunicated and this happened in 2021. He's been punished already without us lumping coals on his head.
@Matt85 This sort of attitude has led my Anglican denomination to the poor state it is in today.

Ofcourse forgiven but never ordained again.

@Matt85 Look how many people he has caused to either leave the church, the Lord, their faith, or go astray.
How many lives he ruined. Forgiving him is not the issue. And him getting what he deserves, are two different things. Some people in that church including kids, may never go back to church again in their lives and they never give their lives to the Lord, either. Every time people walk into that church they will think of that event. It's stained the church. It disgraced the Lord.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@LadyGrace Whatever punishment you think he deserves, he's already gone through it.

@Matt85 Some people are not sorry. They're only sorry they got caught. Some have no conscience. We don't know what he's thinking.

@LadyGrace If someone bought up some mistake I made 3 years ago and I got a lot of fresh hate, I'd wanna off myself.

@Matt85 I thought this just happened. I was not aware of that. I hope he has repented and sincerely meant it.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@LadyGrace Understandable. I did at first too, cause a certain bird posted it that way 😄
