Why are churches full of old people stuck in their ways?

This is a dilemma for me. In the mid sixties there were few people attending church in their twenties. But there was a wide range of ages. The services moved on in the sixties with the middle aged Christian’s taking the lead.

So where have these old Christians locked in the past come from? Because they were not there in their youth?

The fact that in Europe churches are empty and many are being converted into other uses is a sign of the evolution of humanity. The farther we are from believing in mythology the better off we are. We can either believe in the myths we call religion, or we can believe in reality. Being footed in reality helps us solve our problems and advance towards a more equitable, sustainable, prosperous, and peaceful future. Religion makes us grow as a divided species, warring against each other.

@Cyclist most world leaders and the people who make the decisions are not religious or they dont practice their religion. How is that going for us now? Are we better off now?

@Random3838 the premise of your reply is not right. Most leaders in the Americas are religious. It is virtually impossible to be a leader in the United States and not be affiliated with a religion. And I don’t have to tell you about Islamic leaders. Actually, the one place where most leaders are not religious is Western Europe, which is doing very well.

@Cyclist it is one thing to say you are religious and another to practice your religion. There is not one single American leader that actually practices their religion. I think it is safe to say for all other world leaders.
@Random3838 It's all smoke and mirrors, if BinBiden were actually the devout catholic that sniffer claims to be, he'd be pro life and fighting the militant trans agenda.

@Random3838 who is anyone else to question one’s belief in fiction? Sure, if we were talking about reality one would be able to say if someone is wrong or right. Once you are detached from reality, then to each their own, and there is no way to tell wether one is right or wrong, sincere or not. To question a world leader’s belief in their stated religion presumes that there is a correct way of believing in that religion. But it’s fiction, so anyone’s point of view is no more or less right. You cannot question anyone’s sincerity in their believe in their fiction anymore than I can question your belief in your fiction.
@Cyclist Religion teaches only one thing, blindly following their tennants in loyal subjugation, leaders that do not adhere to those tennants only shows they do not practice them, am I not correct @Random3838 ?

@NativePortlander1970 no, your not correct.
