What a wonderful idea!
Most of those near me have been turned into homes. Or demolished.
The Methodists lost their main church in Weymouth some ten years or more ago, by fire; only just after converting the crypt into a modern church-hall. It is still just a roofless shell but there is new hope of homes being built there, using as much as possible of its splendid Victorian facade, I believe.
