I Dont Go to Church

Old enough to (insert anything to do with being an adult) and I still can't tell my mom I haven't been to church since leaving home.

You don't think she would be open minded about it?

@SW-User Not in the least. I've already disappointed her enough as it is. lol

@MerryCherry is she a tad controlling? She needs to let you be a grown up... and show unconditional love
MerryCherry · 31-35, F
She's not controlling but I've been pretty much going my own route all my life and it's difficult my parents who are very 'traditional' to accept me as I am. It takes a while but they eventually do....I just feel like I'm constantly having to explain myself. @SW-User

@MerryCherry become more firm with them.... sooner or later they have got to let go and allow you to be you're true own person and they love you no matter what... how long did it take them to not be directed by their parents? Things have to be touch and go and they need to pick their battles.... whether you're going to church or not isn't one of them.. this is all only my opinion

Their parents were pretty much the same. I try though, that's the main reason why I left and moved thousands of miles away. @SW-User
