I Dont Go to Church

Old enough to (insert anything to do with being an adult) and I still can't tell my mom I haven't been to church since leaving home.

A diplomatic move. No shame in trying to keep your parents happy.

insert? oh no! no! especially not on camera and not without a lubricating spermicide.

You don't think she would be open minded about it?

@MerryCherry become more firm with them.... sooner or later they have got to let go and allow you to be you're true own person and they love you no matter what... how long did it take them to not be directed by their parents? Things have to be touch and go and they need to pick their battles.... whether you're going to church or not isn't one of them.. this is all only my opinion

Their parents were pretty much the same. I try though, that's the main reason why I left and moved thousands of miles away. @SW-User

OK I suspected as much. We protestants don't make such a big deal about going to church. Different belief system about the same God.

I used to feel funny when I accidentally drove past my Mom's church on a Sunday...

She's very religious and would probably disown me. @hippyjoe1955
