I Dont Go to Church

I grew up in the church. We'd attend several nights a week. When you're that young attending, you don't really get much out of it, besides the singing and basic ideals of your faith.
I remember hating to go. I went to one of those stereotypical Black churches 😆
We didn't have a youth center, so all the children had to sit in the sanctuary with the adults. It would be so hot in the sanctuary, and boring. You had to sit still for hours in the most uncomfortable clothes, and if you said anything or moved around a bit, you'd get pinched and stared at hahaha!

We stopped really going when I was around ten. As an adult I tried to get into it again. I'd go with friends to an all youth church. Everyone was college aged. STILL COULDN'T DO IT! I had to stop going because every time during the sermon, I'd pass out, or would be nodding off the entire time. Church is just so boring to me.

So, yeah. That's why I don't go to church.
