John 15:18 If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. https://share.google/t5OT3MuUTSRWptAqu

No hate like Christian “love”.
Hyssop · 36-40
Sure in some cases, which is unfortunate. The same can be said about any other group of people though, if basing your opinion of the whole group off of only the bad encounters you’ve had.

Not all Christian’s are the same. Not all Christians are even all that Christian to be honest.

More people have been murdered in the name of Jesus than Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Trump ever dreamed of killing.

It seems to me that if people truly loved their religion, they would follow it.

When it comes to Abrahamic faiths, Christianity included, most people don't follow their religions, they identify with them, often than not when they need to create or react to otherness.

Of course, they do.

Your opinion is noted. Others can also form a nasty opinion of you with regard to your character.

Of course it is. People don’t like to be condemned by something. They don’t like requirements either, repent, obey Jesus commands, various things that are required to enter Heaven. Punishment for those that did not, lake of fire. They can’t get around the fact that we must fear Gods wrath. Instead they believe the devils lies and don’t even realize it.
@Hyssop Thank you. It’s true. Oh how I wish it wasn’t. I’ve cried a river of tears by being rejected and mistreated on my journey of life.

But as I well know that if I live the flesh, turn back and do the things most people do, they’d love me. When I was in the world, I was many times life of the party. I could just draw people.

Now I’m in the world but not of the world…

Jesus said, John 15:19
King James Version
19 ****If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:***, but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

@Unefilletrescurieuse I can relate
@Hyssop I believe when people from anywhere live close enough to God, we can all relate to the scriptures, their meanings and many of life’s experiences. I know many times we might not all always agree on all things, but we feel a like spirit…And when we don’t agree, we can agree to disagree (unless it’s the fundamentals for salvation that we can’t compromise). He has called us to live in peace. And he has told us as much as lieth in us, to live in peace with all men if possible. 🙂 Some make it hard, but I always try above and beyond.

Having said that, I am no doormat for anyone. I use to be, but now I know God didn’t call me to be a doormat. He did tell us in his word, when they don’t hear us, shake the dust off our feet.

Romans 12:18
King James Version
18 ‘If’ it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

King James Bible Matthew 10:14
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Stop trying to gaslight me, it won't work. Go away.

If it won't work, then what are you afraid of?

@EldritchFox yes there are definitely fake Christian’s and those with a “holier than thou” point of view.

I had my doubts in the past, and won’t force my beliefs on others. All I can do is strengthen my relationship with God, and try to apply scripture to what is going on in my life. I share some here and there.
Hyssop · 36-40
@GoFish maybe so…
Afterlife · 70-79, MNew
Islam is more likely to be hated. It consistently oppresses and engages in hate crimes around the world.
Afterlife · 70-79, MNew
@Unefilletrescurieuse Consult the World Almanac for a better understanding. And growth due to forced conversion and automatic enrollment doesn't really count.
@Afterlife disagree and that’s my right! Carry on soldier!
Afterlife · 70-79, MNew
@Unefilletrescurieuse It doesn't really matter. They're both false beliefs from the same kind of dirt.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Possibly because in much of the world Christianity has such a long history of oppression and destruction of other religions?
Looks like you've attracted hordes of atheists dying to prove you wrong
Hyssop · 36-40
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP interesting, eh?
