Do you think religion can be a negative?

I have experience many things hallucinations and visitations and one encounter with a girl, I envision in my imagination in 2002. Then she later appearing in 2015. i thought the priest from x.com would reach to me. I became all damage from neglect four years. I still struggle with sloth but I feel if I did things out of my own will i could get further than by following religious laws. I was trying to describe the envision girl incident but for some reason some of the post I found on certain people that will come across my feed will say that don't be attentive to girls but think about God. Plus people in church will think of me as weird not knowing I have no car to get there, the bible says to encourage each other but I realize people in religion no different from worldly people.
