I'm Christian. I think sex toys only become sinful if you're using them and regularly excluding your partner which eventually causes a sense of sadness, loss of connection and rejection to be felt.
There are lots of passages about how sex should never be withheld in marriage and why.
1 Corinthians 7:3-4
"The husband should give the wife her conjugal rights and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body but the husband and the husband does not have authority over his own body but the wife does."
1 Corinthians 7:5
"Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again so that Satan doesn't tempt you because of your lack of self control"
