People have a right to their personal beliefs. And well done to Ukraine back in 2023 for removing the hammer and sickle from it's statue.
If you love Communism so much why not pack your bags and move to Cuba or Venezuela comrade?

@BritishFailedAesthetic they are. Just like im entitled to express my views that religion has no place in modern society. Venezuela? Oh yes the country trump is considering going to war with for their oil. Cuba has had an embargo placed on them by America since the 60s.

@BritishFailedAesthetic trump clearly thinks they have something of worth. If you'd read das kapital you'd know it was a critique of political economy. Especially that made famous by adam smith and david ricardo. It isn't a pro communist work but a detailed critique of the capitalist economy predominately in the uk at the time and how it was exploiting factory workers.
@Guitarman123 Fine but Venezuela, though rich in resources, doesn't use the resources for the benefits of it's citizens (typical of a Marxist Country).
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic typical pf a capitalist country. Hords resources and wealth into the hands of a minority few simply because they have capital and private property. All while wages remaint stagnant and cost of living goes up.
@Guitarman123
Great description of a Communost country like Cuba.
When I went there you saw the poverty of the locals while government officials drove cars like a very modern BMW.

@BritishFailedAesthetic homelessness in cuba is next to zero. 382,000 people in the uk are homeless. Yet the thought of taxing the wealthy offends people
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic i can only guess you're unaware of issues in the uk
@Guitarman123 I'm in the UK and on Universal Credit you wally.
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic and?
@Guitarman123 So yeah I think I know the issues and what living off jack means.
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic which is neoliberal governments prioritising the few at the expense of the many
@Guitarman123 Under your system everyone gets to be equally poor 😂
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic my "system " gave the uk the nhs welfare state and the 8 hour work day
@Guitarman123 We should have hybrid health like the rest of Europe- due to ill jealth in my wife's family, I have been in many a NHS waiting place and the system is awful.
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic hybrid health? Nobody should have to pay to look after their health. Nhs issues are due to neoliberal governments.
@Guitarman123 Europe does fine- I'm not talking about the deranged American health care system.

@BritishFailedAesthetic the nhs was established by a socialist government under an economical system established by liberal economist john maynard keynes

@Guitarman123 Ever think what it is like to live with a socialist health care system? My wife was stricken with cancer 15 years ago. She got excellent treatment and fully recovered. A few months later my cousin in law was stricken with the same form of cancer. She was dead a year later because the health care system had spent its 'treatment' budget. Her treatment was pushed back until the new budget came into effect. Although my wife's cancer was more advanced at time of diagnosis my cousin in law's cancer was terminal by the time she got treatment. The only alternative she had was to go to the US for treatment.

@hippyjoe1955 im in the uk. All know os the nhs

@Guitarman123 and I live in Canada which along with Cuba is the only nation on the planet that refuses private medical care. Well at least it did until the courts over ruled the government and said that Canadians have a right to prompt medical care. Since the government can not afford such a luxury slowly but slowly private medical care is becoming available. A lady I knew needed an MRI. She was told that she could get one in a year or so. She drove to Montana had and MRI done and gave it to her doctor a few days later. The MRI showed a fatal condition if not treated immediately.
Guitarman123 · 36-40, M
@hippyjoe1955 health care should never be private
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Guitarman123 So the doctors and nurses should be slaves of the state? The pharmaceutical companies should be state run and what ever nostrums they dream up should be forced on the populace? Sick people should stand in the queue waiting their turn even if their turn comes after their death?
