Many people who believe in God cease believing in God when they face trauma in their lives..
And
Many people who did not believe in God come to believe in God when they face trauma in their lives..
In the end this life there is going to be trauma for both the Religious and the Atheist.. So experiencing it should not cause one to move either way..
As a Christian i know that God never promised me a life without trauma.. So experiencing troubles is to me just background noise in Life.. This world is faulty so experiencing troubles is a part of living a life in this world..
