Why are christians so afraid of Pagans?

A website listing Pagan Events (https://www.pagan-events.org.uk) recently suffered a mail bomb attack from christian groups. What do hateful christians hope to achieve with things like that?

Christians are afraid of everyone that doesn’t think the way they do. They also have misconceptions about other religions and beliefs and that’s why they fear them. And also they haven’t liked pagans for centuries.
