Is it hard to find Christianity these days 🙏☁

As has been true since the Crucifixion, finding true Christians who actually follow Jesus’ teachings is hard, yes.

People joining a church because it’s the right church, even when the pastor flies by personal jet, drives a Lamborghini. The church has become a networking tool.

It’s not the faith, it’s the people.

For that reason, I no longer belong to a church and don’t define myself as Christian, but as a believer in an entity far more significant than I am.
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Nor have I, but “ministers” have been doing it for decades. Some for centuries.

Here’s a short list of pastors committing fraud. Some pretty high-tier fraud.

@Mamapolo2016 oh so that's why I've not encountered any: I haven't been cross-crossing North America, checking out every church there is, so I could find those half dozen.
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Neither have I. Ever. I see it in the news feed.

My dad was a pastor, and a good one. I believe in God. I do my best to walk in Jesus’ steps, which is a learning process. I’m in pre-k.

I do not WANT to see this happening. But it’s there, in front of God and everybody. When we don’t react to “a half-dozen” it only enables the thieves. But there are far far more than a half dozen.

It's easy if you can read a Bible.. In fact you do not even have to read, there are audio Bibles online one can get..

And Jesus is just a prayer away..

@YoMomma I think so much of American culture runs opposite to the gospel teachings, so that even when you are Christian it's hard to act in the way you know you should act.
