You thoughts, (religious or not) on organ donation/transplants.

Everyone physically dies. from the moment we are born, we begin to die. What gives doctors the right to change this, to prolong a persons life by taking parts from one human and placing them in another?

I have thought about this issue more than once and I am not very clear in my opinion on this subject. That's why I have not donated my organs yet. This subject is totally out of my thought process. Here, I don't know what us right or what is wrong.
