@4meAndyou It could happen but also what could happen is a preacher spinning a good story. The boy has an uncle that would do that. His mother went to the small church where he was preaching and one morning he preached a sermon on something that never happened that involved her.

@cherokeepatti I have some relatives out west who will spin a good story that way. I especially loved the one they told where they were camping in their RV, and they were down really low on gas when one of their little grandchildren came down with a very high fever of 103*.

My Aunt Dorothy, the grandma, tried to bring the fever down by wrapping her grandbaby in wet towels, but the fever just would not go down...so my Uncle George started driving toward the nearest emergency room. The gas gauge read empty...and the hospital was more than 80 miles away, but he kept driving and driving and driving.

He prayed to the Lord God to give them enough gas to get to the hospital.

They JUST pulled into the ER parking lot when the RV sputtered and died.
