Easy to debunk the story of Adam and Eve

The story of Adam and Eve is very easily debunked. Consider the following. If God is perfect and has always been perfect. And has never had the freedom of choice to be perfect or imperfect. Then why did God make Adam and Eve imperfect and give them the freedom of choice? Why didn't God make Adam and Eve perfect like himself? Making them imperfect and giving them the freedom of choice is not necessary. To create beings to suffer is evil.

@wildbill83 the alternative is not absurd. If God has always existed then it is just as possible for something else to have always existed. The universe did not come from nothing but was created from something else.
