I fully would have understood that Sun was important for life but moon was not at all important for any life.

Except that someone didn't want us in complete darkness. So, a moon had to be set in the nearby environment. What

Also another orbital sphere could save us from the vastness of the universe in the form of being a cover from asteroids.

How can This magnificent creation of God be termed as "evolved on itself" by Science. This disturbs me a bit but that's okay. Because people mocked him even on Cross.
We all do deserve hell, ask yourself if you have never sinned? Why do you think you deserve heaven?

And then also, God wanted us in heaven just like A father wants even a rotten Child of his back. How merciful is he?

He deserves to be Loved by all. Again few people question that every society has his own god. Which God should we believe in?

To this, Answer is God is only ONE. In ancient times, different scattered tribes worshipped nature in different forms and out of all, Greeks and Egyptians became advanced and started making SCULPTURES. These sculptures went towards Europe and also far East with Hercules and Alexander and that's how PAGANISM spread everywhere, first in Europe, and then from NW Afghanistan and then to whole of the Asia. Now, being adamant, they still don't want to do anything with The True God. They understand it as alteration/adulteration in their culture. So, let them be. It's the spirit which will change their Heart. We should be right in our message of Gospel of Love. God knows we will try, God knows their heart and he will mend them so that they see the TRUTH.

Science also has to come up. Don't you think Earth could have been destroyed a zillion times by now if it had no protection. There are so many craters on moon.

Back to why moon is there and how it is essential for us just as much as The Sun is. You can ponder over these issues.

The Bible gives us the answer of why we needed the moon, as well as the Sun. He gave the Sun to us for many reasons. To help grow our food, as a light during the day, and to keep us warm. There are too many reasons, to mention. The Moon is a light for us by night, but it does control also the tides. The Sun and Moon guide our seasons.

The Earth's tilt in relation to the sun, determines the seasons. When the top of the Earth is closer to the sun, it's summer, and when the bottom of the Earth is closer to the sun, it's winter.

The moon's gravity stabilizes the Earth's tilt, which helps prevent extreme weather and ice ages. Without the moon, the Earth's tilt could vary wildly.

The Earth's elliptical orbit around the sun also contributes to the seasons. It takes the Earth about 365 1/4 days to complete one orbit.

I like your explanation of how we got pagan gods. Good article. Definitely things to think about.

Right. The Earth is not a craterless planet; while it has far fewer visible craters, compared to other planets like Mercury or the Moon, it does have craters, but they are often obscured by weathering and erosion from its atmosphere and active geological processes, making them difficult to see.

This is why evangelism is so important. Unless they hear the gospel, how will they know? And this is why prayer for the unsaved is so important. Not just let them go.
Skipping the mythology, the moon does some important things. The reason there are few visible impact craters is due to planetary erosion and plate tectonics. Earth is really not protected by the moon. It’s a heavy dense planet with far more gravitational pull.

Also the moon doesn’t emit any light, it reflects the sun. The tidal effects slow down Earth's rotation. Millions of years ago the moon was a lot closer and the Earth spun faster. The moon is moving away and eventually leave the Earth’s gravity and possibly leave the solar system.

@BlueSkyKing Only Earth is Crater-less? That makes it further more interesting. Moon really absorbs much of the shock, then?
@DanielsASJ No the Earth is not "crater-less". The Earth is geologically active, has an atmosphere, and a mostly water surface.

@BlueSkyKing Crater-less comparatively

Yes, it is equally significant; in fact, the Moon is more significant for women because it governs femininity, while the Sun is more significant for men because it governs masculinity.
