Two different covenants.. Legal agreements..

Old Covenant = Hebrews agree to follow the laws set down by God and in return God agreed to bless them and lift them up to be a great nation..

New covenant = Everyone on earth who want to agree to believe The LORD Jesus His teachings and agree to Trust that the Atonement He secured on the cross paiys the peanlty for sin, God in return agrees to totally forgive and forget all their sins and to give them eternal life in His perfect eternal existence..

The OLD Covenent was primaraly about Doing .. Hebrews doing for God and God doing for The Hebrews in return..

The New Covenant is primaraly about Humans Believing and Trusting and in return God gifting eternal life in His paradise..
