My friend has invited me to go to her church with her this upcoming Sunday. I was quiet for like a min just because i was susprised by that. Lol my family and other past friends have never invited me to church and Ive never really been curious anyway but now Im gonna attend a church service and by choice. 😱
Also being invited to a baptism or wedding doesnt count. I mean service like sunday.

Nah, my disdain for religion isn't a secret. It ruined my childhood and left me with a lot of issues I'm still dealing with today.

@thepeculiarpanda i know they all have an awful history too😟 i just cant help but be curious as well, my mom stopped attending church when I was in 2nd grade and i dont remember. Im also seeeing it as taking a peek into another human activity.

@mooncrest02 I totally get it. :3 It's something I've debated doing from time to time but I think it would bring up a loooot of stuff I don't really want to deal with right now. 😅

@mooncrest02 my parents were going to a very "spare the rod, spoil the child" church when I was really young. Nothing like getting beaten 'cause religion said to.

Then they uprooted my siblings and I when I was 9 to go to a missionary college for two and a half years, and dad was a pastor for four after that. I saw the behind-the-scenes of it all and I'm not interested. :)

@mooncrest02 I'm slowly working on getting through it. It's just hard when they still don't think they did anything wrong. They've gone back down the religious rabbit hole at this point too and I really don't have time for it after everything I've been through. 😅

@mooncrest02 yup, that's pretty much where I'm at. I love them, but I'm not really interested in being around them anymore.

The only reason I am is for my niece and nephew. :)
