We're being pushed to electrify everything, and rely totally on unreliable electricity generation to power the grid and pushed to adopt the insanity of net-zero through electric cars, and power grids have not yet experienced the dual insanities of gross amounts of inverter-based micro-generation with no standardised synchronisation and massive demands to charge EV's and run our homes that will cripple electricity infrastructure as we know it and further exacerbate the growing gap between people who can afford electric-everything and those who cannot.

@Diotrephes Hard to say. Remember Tesla isn't the only US EV maker. I want to know where all the extra electricity generation will come from. Solar farms destroy massive amounts of land that could be use for agriculture, and wind is far less 'clean' and 'safe' than it's made out to be. Both wind and solar are useless when wind isn't blowing or it's dark. These types of generation are included in the 'inverter-based' source category. They also have zero 'electrical inertia'.

@zonavar68 It doesn't matter if other manufacturers profit as long as the special guy does. After all, he wants to get paid $56 Billion a year.
