Why are Christians so Arrogant?

Is arrogance a sine qua non of Christianity? It certainly seems to be a common trait among Christians.

I think it's a sign of being in an exclusive club, giving them the illusion of superiority like they've got a corner on the market, and shunning those who aren't members.

@PhoenixPhail You could be right for some of them. Christianity itself is by no means exclusive but some of its fringe, more cultish, organisations behave that way.
@ArishMell Most of the people who bill themselves as "Christians" turn me away when I don't agree with their viewpoint of being Christian. I accept them into my life in my INclusiveness. But in their EXclusiveness, I'm rejected more often than not.

@PhoenixPhail That is very sad. I must admit I have never met that. Indeed, two of my friends are Anglican priests.
