Why are Christians so Arrogant?

Is arrogance a sine qua non of Christianity? It certainly seems to be a common trait among Christians.

Nah, those aren't real ones 🙂

@val70 They are - their god tells them to impose their beliefs on others.

@Sharon Love God and love thy neighbour. Nothing on imposing believes, sorry to say

@val70 Read your bible. Try Matthew 28:18-20 and Luke 10:1-12 for starters.

@Sharon

In Matthew 28:18-20 one learns that a true disciple is not just a student or a learner, but a follower; one who applies what he has learned.

Thus one can't just dish out disciples, even not by mind mend 🤣

Luke 10:1-12 : "When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you."

Again I say to you that there's nothing wrong with loving God and your neighbour. And that's true Christianity in a nutshell 🥸

@val70 Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

(My emphasis). I think that's clear enough that christians are required to impose their beliefs on non-christians.

@suzie1960 I'm sure that you think that it's as violent a religion that can be. But I know better 😁
