Atenism was NOT the first monotheistic religion?

People say that when the pharoh Akhenaten said to only worship the Egyptian God Aten, it was the birth of monotheism. I have literally read world history text books that say this. But I think this is false. Monotheism is beliving there is only one God, but I don't think atenism made this claim, rather it just made the claim that Aten was the only God worth worshipping. I think monotheism started with with the Abrahamic faith or with Zoroastrianism.

Humanity has been around for a long time, before written anything. I'm willing to bet that there's more out there that we don't even know. I mean so many civilizations lost, that's what I think anyways. I also think that half of history is written by victors and probably half way right and wrong at the same time.

@SatanBurger True, there's really no telling what the first monotheistic religion was.

Funny tho, cause on technicality you could argue that Hinduism was. The Aghor Stone was the oldest religious artifact we have to date, which was associated with shaktism. Since Shakti is the divine feminine cosic energy that underlies everything, this would mean that human and the pantheon of hindu Gods are just eminations of it. Thus, the first worship of the divine feminine as the one true source of creation is the oldest we have traces of.
@BRUUH i dunno Gobekli tepe is 1200 years old , and im pretty sure there are temples that they have found are waaya older that that.

Even the mayans and aztecs didn't know who origically built some of their cities .... they just discovered them.

And what is even more amazing is, there is a period of incredibly early civilization around the world - that shows stone building amd sculpting that is beyond all others since (and that we can't recreate today). It depicts building technology we cant recreate or achieve today.
Were they built by God/gods?

The Sphinx is even being redated due to re-examimation of geological errosion evidence that it might be older than the flood of the younger dryas....12500 years old .

I agree with @SatanBurger ....we are yet to know enough to make any clear findings of our true history.
And that history IS written by the victors, or successors.

Who is to know where and how the OT came from , or how. All we know is that we have older tablets that tell some similar stories, and archeological evidence that some stories are true -.and correlate.... and that some dont .
