@Bumbles I would say that there are individuals of each and every Faith who have been driven/inspired in such directions. It always seems to be an individual thing, simply the way they appropriate and interpret the various scriptures. Of course, some individuals will simply become bigots. The same text - different understanding.

@SW-User I can't say I find religions the same in that regard. Of course, there are good and bad individuals in every religion.

@Bumbles It's not that the religions are the same, but that each can inspire people differently. Maybe some are more able/likely to inspire "liberalism" and individual rights than others.
