As a non religious person

It’s cool for you to believe in whatever you want, one god, multiple gods, or none at all. But the Toxic Religious people are something else, yall take shit way too far with the “Holier Than Thou” bullshit.

nothing inflates the ego more than certainty. to be certain that you know the ultimate truth is pretty much as far from humility that someone can possibly be but they pretend to be humble. " I'm so humble, let me tell you about the ultimate truth because I have so much pitty for you, you poor lost soul, who have not yet discovered the truth". how toxic is that? imagine someone with the same attitude but about other stuff, like cooking . you invite someone for supper and after tasting your food they go " you are lost my friend, this food makes it clear to me that you have not yet discovered the real way to prepare food but I am here for you, I love you, I can guide you towards cooking better because when I understood, it changed my life". me: " get the F out of my house" . 😂😂
The worse thing is that they are not okay to let non believers continue not to believe their doctrine and see it as their "right" and "duty" to collect as many people to their club as possible. They have a sense of entitlement that is as grotesque as it is unwarranted.

Despite Jesus saying, "Judge not lest ye be judged." 😒
littlelia · 22-25, F
@Diotrephes Being judgmental is not a basic human trait, judgement is taught.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@littlelia All animals make judgments.
littlelia · 22-25, F
@Diotrephes yes, but like i said judgement is taught.
The holier than thou attitude isn't my thing.
littlelia · 22-25, F
@BritishFailedAesthetic then this post isn’t about you. Carry on.
SDavis · 56-60, F
And you called religious people toxic _ look at how you're speaking - now that is toxic!
littlelia · 22-25, F
@SDavis what i said wasn’t toxic, and i never specifically said christians lmao so you clearly felt attacked because you yourself are a toxic religious person.
SDavis · 56-60, F
@littlelia what you said was toxic and Christians fall upon **religious** people. And if you live in America Christianity is prevalent.

Do you communicate with people who practice Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Spiritualism, Toasim, Shinto, Baha'i, Jainism, Sikhism, or all the others and I didn't include Judaism and Islam.

Enough from me Good by
littlelia · 22-25, F
@SDavis I literally said “it’s cool for you to believe in whatever you want. One god, multiple gods, or no god at all” therefore stating i have no problem with anyone just because of the religion they follow or their spiritual beliefs. I dont give a shit that you’re Christian; that being said you said that Christians aren’t toxic, when in all actuality you guys do have SOME VERY toxic followers (key word: SOME as in, NOT ALL). The amount of people to stray away from Christianity, is through the roof due to the toxicity people faced in SOME or ALOT of Christian communities (again SOME means not all, and ALOT means Majority). For you to say that there are NO TOXIC CHRISTIANS WHATSOEVER, is already a lie because i see them everyday. And no im not singling out christians i am just using them as an example because YOU decided to bring them up.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
Yeah...you seem a little entitled and irritable.

Gonna mute you now. 👋
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Agreed. None of us are perfect.
littlelia · 22-25, F
@uncalled4 you’re one of the few people who actually got the point lmao
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@littlelia Thanks. I wouldn't call myself overly religious, but I do have faith and do part-time work at a church. Someone else doesn't have faith? Doesn't bother me in the least. Some folks take it to a level that's not reasonable, though--I think that's what you were talking about.
littlelia · 22-25, F
@uncalled4 nail on the head
Now that the sheep have been rammed...

Do you have problems with toxic atheists?
littlelia · 22-25, F
@TheWildEcho yeah they’re kinda annoying too tbh.
SW-User
@TheWildEcho the ones here are anti theists. They don't have the faith or belief to be athiests
littlelia · 22-25, F
@SW-User ok then
SW-User
And the vile agnostics don't? The smarmy Santa Claus, Sky King, Fairy Tales shit?
littlelia · 22-25, F
@SW-User did you miss the part where i said TOXIC RELIGIOUS PEOPLE. Agnostic people are still religious they’re just not tied to specific belief systems.
I take it you met my mother's side of the family.
littlelia · 22-25, F
@NativePortlander1970 no and thank god for that lmao
