Are people becoming more disrespectful? Just yesterday I booked a room in a London hotel and when I entered the premises I was aghast to find that

female staff did not curtsy and males did not bow, nor did they remove their caps and scrunch them in their hands in my presence. This, however was not the worst act of behaviour that my wife and I encountered. I warn you that the next part of this story is graphic and I advise all ladies to cease reading the adventure from this point. As we were standing in the foyer, surrounded by these not curtsying, non hat scrunching oik's one of the rabble belched in front of my good wife. Well of course this was a great upset to her and she swooned and fainted as soon as this evil act was complete. Of course I complained to the manager and insisted that this 'belching monster' was given a damned good thrashing but he just told me that this was not the way 'we do things these days'. Are we reaching Armageddon? Well, it seems to me when the working classes no longer recognise the superiority of their betters then we have reached just that point. Thoughts?

LOL!

I have even heard of their superiors respecting the working class as people.

Whatever next? The off-spring of the lower-orders, the fruit of the loins of tram-conductors and tea-room waitresses, going to university and perhaps even obtaining First-Class Honours Degrees?

Oh. Too late. Many already do.
