Do you pray?

as tears fall..,

This Post reminds me of many years ago when the Lord led me to a few churches, even one by invitation only (redflag) to hear His Word and always asking for His blessings and protection over me as I entered new ones.

I went for only one sincere purpose and that was to hear His 'Word', so I could find the answer to my question.
I was active in all attending and serving in some maybe three or more days a week, also chosen to start a Mens Bible Ministry.

There came a day when finally I said and asked God, " You've led me to all these churches and you shown me what you wanted me to see and hear!" ( untruths, practices and teachings).
"Now if your not going to teach me yourself, than I'll just give it all up and will no longer believe in you!" (relieving myself of this burden of truth that I sought).
His answer to me at that very moment in an audible loud and clear voice "DONE!".
Needless to say, I was in shock that He himself would answer a sinner like me.

It was a hard path to follow learning from Him, as I had to re-think, evaluate and re-learn all that I've learned from the churches.
Till today though I fall short, I strive to get even closer to Him.

Do I recommend a new or a person young in the Spirit who's seeking truth to attend church, yes its a good place to start where youll have support of fellow Christians.

I would be surprised if there is a Christian who says they do not pray..

But thats a different issue to going to a Church and attending a service.. Christians can pray anywhere and at any time..

Non-christian, pantheist; I do pray daily.

I do not attend religious services nor belong to any congregation.
I was raised Catholic so I came from being indoctrinated to sacraments.

I have religious beliefs; a part of that believe is that there is no point in praying, because God does not listen, and He does not care at all. He could not care less when you pray.

I do pray if i am really troubled and feeling desperate for help and dont know what to do. Its a relief to be able to give all my problems to god and just have faith that he will help me.

I believe in gods but the dynamic is a bit different. More a relationship of reciprocity. And we don't really have services.

I pray sometimes. I got brought up christian. Still believe in god just dont go to church.

You said any religion, so I’m not DQ’d. I pray and attend formal religious gatherings at times.

I pray yes, but do not attend services, as there is no Atashgah nearby.
