Question for the religious and non religious folks who...

always try convincing others of their faith or non faith.

If your faith is so strong, why do you care if others dont believe what you believe? Your beliefs should be untouchable and same goes to those who dont believe in religion, why do you care that others do believe in it and why try to prove their religion to be not real?

I am religious myself and could not care in the slightest if others dont believe in it. I dont understand the constant religious arguments and trying to prove its real or not real

Because religion is public thing. Spirituality is personal thing.

@ABCDEF7 both should be a personal thing

@Torsten But the reality is not what it should be. The above video answers it, why?

@ABCDEF7 is a interesting video and thanks for sharing. he mentioned conflict is inevitable with beliefs and I agree with that hence why I think religious beliefs are better kept to be a more personal private thing.
I understand Christianity and other religions beliefs are about spreading their beliefs and message to others but I cant relate with that at all.
That brings me to the question if peoples beliefs are so strong, why does others saying it is not real, get under their skin so much?
why focus on trying to to convince those people so much and move on to find others willing to listen instead?

@Torsten Those doubt their own religious beliefs, don't fight for it.

When you start believing instead of knowing it as reality, you want to manifest your believes everywhere around you. Why? Because it's actually a believe, not the reality. You want others to also endorse you. As it will make them more confident, which they really needed. And if someone is opposing you instead of endorsing you, he ought to be your enemy.

@ABCDEF7 I dont know about that so much.
For example, my beliefs are my reality and anyone who disagrees with my beliefs, is not thought of as a enemy to me

@Torsten Your believes are actually wrong, you are in illusion that your believes is reality. I am just trying to save you from ignorance and hell.

When someone tries to impose his/her faith on you like that, you are likely to defend your believe, simply because you don't want to change your believes. When the conversation goes ahead, we both are going to disagree with each other.

@ABCDEF7 I can see your point with that
ABCDEF7 · M
@Torsten Thanks you got my point.

I just wrote in bold to make it like someone is forcing their believe on you. Please don't take it personally.

@ABCDEF7 nah no offence taken. I could see where you were going with it and you're correct in what you wrote
