Is Quran actually the final Word of God and is Muhammed really a prophet?
Allah sent many messengers and prophets, with four main scriptures: From Adam to Muhammed, the holy books were Zaboor(now a part of bible), Torah(old testemon), Injeel(original bible) , and the final book Holy Quran.
Now many, in this world dont consider Muhammed as the final prophet and Quran as the final book of guidance. They deny both the last prophet and the last holy book.
The main reason to that is, it contradicts there scriptures, (edited ones), and we as Muslims believe all the previous prophets and messengers, were sent by God and these all, the scriptures were divine.
So I have a question from whoever is reading this. Do you read the oldest edition of a book, or the newest one?
All the previous books got corrupt, and satan misguided man, and made all the made up stories look real. Now Allah sent his final book, the Holy Quran with Muhammed ( He was the best man ever on earth, and the reason to why god made humans prophets is so that we understand how to become best of human beings by seeing then all, peace be upon them all)

@BittersweetPotato okay so, Yes I do have proof. First of all u need to understand that We muslims believe in all the previous prophets and messengers, and we say Allah, God has sent four scriptures.. Zaboor(now a part of bible) Injeel(bible) Torah(old testemon)and the Quran the last and final book of guidance. So does Quran contradict the true previous scriptures, no. These all are from One God. Intact the Christian king negus himself said, These are two rays from the same light. Meaning from one God. Second of all Quran was sent to correctify the corruptions of the previous books. Thord of all, Quran is a miracle within it itself. Read my last post for knowing all the proofs.
So does Quran contradict the true previous scriptures, no.
Where are the previous versions, in order for you to conclude with such confidence that Quran doesn't contradict them?
Sorry but what you mentioned is not a proof of anything, it is merely your own beliefs or views.
Let me ask you then.
As you may know, the Arabic language at the time of the prophet was not fully mature when it came to its "written form". It existed long before, but its written form was not fully developed, and a writing called Garshuni or Karshuni was actually used during that time to write in Arabic, which is a writing that uses Syriac alphabet to communicate Arabic words. The Arabic language only had 15 letters at the time, as opposed to now (28 letters), it did not have any dots or vowels either.
I am giving this background to ask, how can we be sure that the Quran as we see it today, is exactly accurate, when it was originally written without any vowels or dots? I do not know if you know Arabic, but a sentences can be read a hundred different ways if you play with the dots, example;
111:1
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ May the hands of Abi Lahab be ruined, and may he be ruined!
The above is the original text of the Quran in current times. If you change the dots in the word تبت and make it بتت the text will translate as: May the hands of Abi Lahab be cut, which actually makes a lot more sense!
Of course either way, the text isn't pretty! May I add that the proper translation is "damned/fu*ked" and not really ruined! It was sugarcoated.
The other thing I want to ask;
How can we explain Aycha doubts, the prophet's most favourite and trusted wife, when she said that Surah Ahzab contained 200 verses during the lifetime of prophet, and now it contains only 73 verses?
How can we explain the fact that Ibn Mas‘ood, who is one of the most respected figures in Islam and was the companion of the prophet since the start of Islam, has excluded from the Quran three very important Surah: al-Fatihah and al-mu’awwizatayn (al-Falaq and al-Nas). I say very important, because these three Surah are read in every single prayers by Muslims. Imagine reading in every prayer surah that may not even be part of the book.
I am just trying to make the point that, things are not as simple or straightforward as you or anyone who believes in a holy book make it seem. Unless you are going to ignore all the logical and rational obstacles to have this book reach us complete and accurate, there is no way we can confidently say it is. At least there is no scientific way, but you have to admit that it is just your belief, and not a "proof" as such.
@BittersweetPotato Some interesting differences between Christianity and islam is how the two deal with faith. In Christianity our relationship with God is a wrestling match. We struggle mightily to understand and come to a closer relationship with Him as His child. islam is much more god is right and if ever god is no right understand that god is right.
The same can be said of the Bible and the quran. The Bible is something that has been taken apart and each word examined both for authenticity and accuracy. Tiny 'flaws' are thought to be proof of false religion by those who don't understand Christianity. The quran is never to be questioned or examined. It simply is and is absolutely complete and perfect even as we all can see its many many many flaws.
Finally there is the difference between the way we treat prophets. In Christianity we are warned not to believe a prophet just because he says he is a prophet. We are to examine his words and confirm what he said is true. islam has no such guards. You either believe mohammed or you are not muslim. Somehow the muslims have set up mohammed as being a god that they are to emulate and never doubt.
So it comes down to choice between Jesus and mohammed. Which one is of more noble character that I should want to emulate? Jesus who was nonviolent, embodied love, never married or had sex, and died that others may live or mohammed who was a thief, a slave trader, a polygamist and one who incited needless violence resulting in death. Jesus was never fooled by satan but by his own admission mohammed was fooled by satan.
@BittersweetPotato That opinion and a couple of bucks will buy your a coffee at McDonalds. My response was not aimed at you even though I responded to your comments. However some day you will question your existence and question your belief in nonbelief. I know I did. Thankfully after having grazed in the dry lands of atheism and islam I found the fertile pastures of Christianity. Your mileage may vary.
@hippyjoe1955 well whether you are directing your comment at me or not.. I am just saying that I know enough about Christianity to not ever think of joining it. All these organised religions share way more than their followers would like to admit.. and so, as someone who left Islam for what it preaches, it would not make any sense at all to follow Christianity.
@BittersweetPotato You have no idea what Christianity is all about and it shows. Nice try though. I bet you think you can learn about Christianity by reading a book. WRONG. Christianity is lived and shared. It is not a scholastic endeavor and unless you have interacted with Jesus on a personal level you are completely in the dark.
@hippyjoe1955 The fact that you were quick to assume that I have no idea what Christianity is when you know nothing about me, tells me a lot about you.
@hippyjoe1955 The thing is, I saw my therapist about this, and they told me I cannot have way too many imaginary people in my life, and that I need to choose between Jesus and my imaginary boyfriend whom I have been seeing for long. I chose my BF. I knew Jesus would understand and value my loyalty.
