What does Islam encourage ?☪️

From the verses above we conclude that Islam encourages the following :
1/ mutual consultation.
2/ forgiving those who anger you.
3/ donating within the capacity of what you were blessed with.
4/ Islam is a practical religion. You have a right of demanding justice when you are wronged however , you are encouraged to forgive and if you do you will have a greater reward from God for your patience but you are not forced to pardon.

Critical thinking? Free thought? 🤔
@EarthlingWise
Critical thinking yes
most of the Quran is based on that
(If you need examples please feel free to ask for that)
Free thought what do you mean by that exactly ? Could you elaborate ?
@Islamreligion thought unrestrained by deference to authority, tradition, or established belief, especially in matters of religion.
@EarthlingWise
Thoughts like what exactly ?
Like I am going to kill my neighbor and it should be unrestrained ?
I still don’t get what you mean
@Islamreligion Thoughts like religions are human creations.
@EarthlingWise
“ Thoughts like religions are human creations.”

Yes of course you have that kind of freedom
After all this life is a test
If you are forced to believe in Islam , then it’s no longer a test.
However the result of this test you will endure on the day of judgment.

The Quran says:

Al-Baqarah - Verse 256
{
Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood.So whoever renounces false gods and believes in Allah has certainly grasped the firmest, unfailing hand-hold. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.}

Moreover,
half of the Quran is talking about the people who ridicule islam and think they’re human creation.
God in those verses doesn’t say “hey you Muslims must force them to believe like you “
but instead God is saying to let them be.

I’ll give examples :
Taha - Verse 130

{
So be patient ˹O Prophet˺ with what they say. }

Al-Ma'arij - Verse 5

{
So endure ˹this denial, O Prophet,˺ with beautiful patience.
}

Al-Ghashiyah - Verse 21-22
{
So, ˹continue to˺ remind ˹all, O Prophet˺, for your duty is only to remind.

You are not ˹there˺ to compel them ˹to believe˺.
}
Ali 'Imran - Verse 186

{
You ˹believers˺ will surely be tested in your wealth and yourselves,and you will certainly hear many hurtful words from those who were given the Scripture before you and ˹from˺ the polytheists. But if you are patient and mindful ˹of Allah˺—surely this is a resolve to aspire to.

}
@Islamreligion Qur'an 3:90-91:
Surely, those who disbelieve after their believing, then increase in unbelief, their repentance shall not be accepted, and these are they that go astray. Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers.
If this could be a reference to divine punishment, then of course you have the convenient hadiths.

Hadiths:
Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him.'"
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5:37:4063
etc...
@EarthlingWise

As for that Quranic verse,
It simply says that disbelievers (non Muslims ) will go to hell
What is wrong with it ? It’s simple knowledge/fact about Islam and most religions.

As for that Hadith
I do not believe that Islam teaches to kill anyone who “leaves “ Islam.
Rather for specific situations like for “treason “
And we see that evidently in the life of Mohammed himself where many people who left Islam were not killed and even in the Quran.

Many scholars spoke on this Hadith and their vids are on YouTube if you are interested.
@Islamreligion
Qu'ran
That's why I said "this could be a reference to divine punishment". Religions use emotional blackmail on simple people, they scare them into following their arbitrary rules by promising rewards and punishment , this is a total disrespect for human intelligence.
In today's world one could expect humans to found their morality on more then a set of rules written in the 7th century, even though the book borrows from many older traditions.

Hadith
"change" doesn't mean "betray". Does it?
By the way the Old Testament is also promising death on many accounts. No time for discussion.

@BittersweetPotato

Those who cannot articulate their points respectfully, get their comments deleted in my posts.
Disagreeing and foul language are two different things.
In the future, please do stick to civilized speech wether towards me or someone else or more of your comments will be deleted.
Try again please and be aware that If disrespect continues , I might have to result to blocking you which would be extremely unfortunate.

Thank you

@Islamreligion Or maybe it just makes you more comfortable to delete it and pretend that it is not there? Afterall, how could you justify the killing of poets who dared to just simply criticise with words, after you had claimed Islam is the religion of free thought, or how could you justify wars on people who chose to just simply leave Islam, after you had claimed that there is no compulsion in Islam.. how could you deny that majority of the Quran promotes wars, killing and slavery, and that what you have quoted doesn't represent even 1% of the Quran.. easier to just delete amd move on.
@BittersweetPotato I do not understand why it is so hard for you to articulate yourself in a civilized manner as I am doing while perfectly explaining my points to you?
I am sorry but I will have to block you
I do not tolerate hatred and uncivilized speech it’s an iron rule that I made clear many times.
