On the whole, not really. I think some people judge Christians too harshly just as some others don't judge Christians harshly enough. While it's not fair to assume that all religious people believe the most vile parts of their holy books, it's very common for religious folks to downplay or excuse the flaws in their own faiths, and anyone who does that is complicit in the harm that religious fundamentalism causes.
If you're willing to condemn the flaws in your religion, then I respect you and I think it's shitty when people grill you for it after you've done that. Otherwise, you can go choke on a chode.
