The story of Abel and Cain, The Bible ✝️ Vs The Quran ☪️ Which version ?🧐😯

The Biblical version ;

The Quranic version :

❗️Conclusion❗️
1/ the Biblical version is longer , the Quran version on the other hand is shorter and sounds more like a reference.
2/ the Bible mentions them by their name , the Quran doesn’t
3/ the Quran states that Cain buried his brother after being inspired to do so after seeing a crow digging in the ground. The Bible however doesn’t mention anything about Abels body.

What I “personally” found interesting🥰 :

1/ I was shocked by Cains attitude towards God in the Bible “am I my brothers keeper “
^
That was an amusing bit

2/ The verses “before” the story of Abel and Cain in the Quran were actually about the children of Israel and prophet moses etc
And then Allah/God suddenly mentioned the story of Abel and Cain as a moral reference / lesson
Then he returned to the topic of talking about the children of Israel Once again
As if trying to make a connection.
And I honestly loved how he connected the two different things to be honest
{whoever kills a soul it is as if he had slain mankind entirely }
Because if you really think about it , by Cain killing Abel He also killed a whole possible entire bloodline with decedents and decedents that could have remained till this day if only Abel hadn’t been killed. So God in the Quran is not talking about the “weigh “ of the sin that if you kill someone you will be punished as if you have killed all of human race as in literal meaning but rather talking about the “importance “ of the one human soul. to not be taken lightly.
in Islam the concept of doubling the sin and sin inheritance etc dont exist :
{Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged} Quran 6:160

Both versions are two be respected !
this is my humble comparison 💕

The Biblical version predates the Quaranic version by many hundreds of years

@1354swrdt technically Judaism predates Christianity with the story
So same thing ?😅
Judaism Christianity and Islam are all abrahamic religions.

Islam confirms the Torah and gospel to be the word of God but with the belief that they were not saved thus a bit changed and fabricated over time
and Quran to be the “last” holy book from God.
So of course the similarities.
Again that doesn’t have to be your beliefs Im just saying

Thanks for your comment 💕
