What's your opinion about cosmological arguement?

Can you debunk it?

Claiming the universe was created by "god" just adds a layer of complexity. You need to not only explain where "god" came from but you then have to show why that same explanation cannot be applied to the universe instead.

@Sharon What does the cosmological argument actually say?
Sharon · F
@Behnamhb1999m Which one? The idea is to infer the existence of a specific god (viz. the Abrahamic one) from the fact we exist, based on the premise that there must be a creator.
Behnamhb1999m · 22-25, M
@Sharon Not really. It only proves the existence of a first cause, not the Abrahamic religion.

It begins like this: whatever that begins to exist has a cause.
Sharon · F
@Behnamhb1999m So what caused the cause? Next, why can't the cause be applied to what was caused.

To simplify, if 'X' created the universe, what created 'X'?
Behnamhb1999m · 22-25, M
@Sharon Nothing.

@Behnamhb1999m Great, no need to postulate a god then.
