When the Holy Spirit Speaks: This Is Your Season For Receiving Peace
It is a new morning. It’s a new day.
His mercies are new every morning.
The Lord wants you to sit with Him quietly.
Just you and Jesus.
Nothing else will interfere.
Meditate on Him.
Meditate on His Word.
Let the world go quiet.
Let it go by.
This is Your day.
May the Holy Spirit of peace, fill your heart and mind with Jesus, and complete your rest in Him.
Imagine the arms of Jesus wrapped around you and comforting you. Because that’s what you’ll experience today, as you seek Him.
And then you'll know it -
that peace that only He can give in your body.
A quiet, gentle, comforting peace.
The peace that passes all understanding.
You will know God's peace and Holy Spirit, when you receive it.
It shuts the noise of the whole world down.
It’s that special one-on-one time with Jesus.
You had to come to this place.
The world was drowning Him out.
He's been wanting for you.
But now you know how good it can be...
just sitting alone with Jesus.
This is your season.
God is calling you out. This is not meant to hurt you, but to help you and bring you home, where you belong — in the presence of His love, joy, and peace.
It is God calling you back home, so your spirit can once again reunite and find rest in Him.
So He can speak to your heart.
So He can sanctify you.
So He can teach you and help you grow in Him.
Sit with Him.
Meditate.
Rest in His Holy Spirit.
Nothing compares to that. Nothing compares to fellowshipping with God.
Scriptures to Rest In:
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus’ peace is nothing like the world’s. It is unshakeable. He gives it right before sending the Comforter - the Holy Spirit to you.
Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness...
Peace grows in you supernaturally when the Holy Spirit lives in you.
Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep in perfect peace, those whose minds on You, because they trust in you. Fix your focus on Him, and He will give you complete calm.
A Prayer You Might Want to Say When Your Heart is Ready:
Lord, thank You for Your provisions and caring heart. Thank You for that Holy Spirit peace and guidance. For speaking to my heart. For singling me out from the noise of this world, where You could get me alone and we could have that special holy fellowship.
I dedicate my heart and life to You, Lord. Fill every part of me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may experience Your love, peace and joy that only You can place in me.
I surrender my life and all to You. Thank You for giving me all of You. Help me to be faithful, share my cares with You each day, leaving them at Your feet. Help me to just let go, and leave my burdens in that place of peace, wisdom, and harmony...Your heart.
Thank You for everything You’re going to do in my life. Help me to remember to come to You first, before any decisions are made, as I know You are the One that gives wisdom, if we ask.
I love You and praise You, in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
