I am Thinking of This.

I would really like to read about lives of people that are kind of quiet and and are kind of shy. That way I could learn how they interact with the world over time. Like do they come out of their shell.

if they are shy they probably don't interact much .. that's how shy people are around strangers anyway

The world to them is viewed from a distance.. theories, narratives, descriptions...etc
